HON. TOBUN APPEALS TO GOV. SANWOOLU TO EXTEND BRT OPERATION TO EPE,FIX BRIDGE COMPONENT OF LEKKI- EPE EXPRESSWAY

The Legislator representing the good people of Epe Constituency I, in the Lagos State House of Assembly,Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun,has appealed to the Executive Governor of Lagos State,Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu,to extend BRT operation to Epe,to make transportation better for his constituents and for them to start enjoying what is obtainable in the state's modern transportation system,like other Lagosians. He also advised the Governor to quickly do the Bridge Component of newly constructed Lekki - Epe Expressway,to reduce high rate of accident on the road. This intelligent and caring Lawmaker, made the appeal ,while speaking to Journalists at a public function in Epe on Thursday August 31,2023. " We appreciate what the Governor has done for us in Epe,but we are equally making a request that BRT operation must be allowed to extend to Epe. We also want him to do the Bridge Component of the newly completed Eleko - Epe road. The phase One has been completed, the phase Two is near completion.From Eleko to Ajah ,to Abraham Adesanya;from Eleko- Ibeju- Lekki axis to T- Junction,Epe;We are appealing to His Excellency,Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu,to do the Bridge Component,because of time value of money. If we fail to do it now,we will still do it in future,and it will cost the state collosous amount by that time. It can even be done through ISPO" He said. "If it is not done now,we will make the mess of the whole thing. Also,if we don't want the traffic gridlock being experienced in Apapa to be replicated here,though Dangote has gotten a Trailer Park,somewhere in Ogun state,still ,constructing the Bridge Component of the road is very important. The rate of accident on the road is much and this is because ,most Motorists fail to realize that the bridge component is yet undone,and they involve in accident" He stressed. By : Lagostrendmedia
