LAGOSTREND MEDIA Report That the Palace of the Traditional Ruler of Olu Ora, High Chief Peter Oriyomi was a beehive of activities as one of his daughter Princess Bar. Adenike Ogungbesan got married traditionally to Bar. Idowu, on Friday 17th November 2023.
The traditional marriage of Princess bar. Adenike Ogungbesan and Bar. Idowu attracted who is who in Ora Community of Eredo LCDA, Epe Lagos state , including HRM OBA Nurani Sikiru Ebudola of femiloye kingdom, HRM GBADEWOLU 1 Of ladaba kingdom , Barrister Esther Jimoh Vice Chairman NBA Lagos state. And a host of other dignitaries.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional processes between a selected number of the In-laws including the presentation of Cash gift by Idowu parents as the In-laws presented a variety of items to ask for the hand of the Princess in marriage.
The first appearance of the bride to welcome her husband’s family and other guests was spectacular as she danced round the arena with her maidens.

Blessing of the couple, High Chief Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan charged his daughter to love, respect and obey her husband and advised her not to go to the husband’s home with the thought of her background. For the husband, HIGH CHIEF PETER ORIYOMI OGUNGBESAN charged him to discover the secret to his wife’s heart, love her like a jewel and ensure that any misunderstanding that creeps in should be settled before the next day within themselves.
The father of the groom, expressed joy that they found a lovely wife from Ora Kingdom Royal family and prayed God to bless their Marriage with children and other good things of life.
In their separate responses, the groom, Barrister Idowu and the bride, Princess Barrister Adenike Ogungbesan said they married their heartthrobs and promised to respect each other.
