Speaking with LAGOSTREND MEDIA TV, during the  interview at the 2023 edition of the Tobun for Real Team Get-Together in Epe, held on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, Hon. Ahmed Seriki emphasized the importance of personal development and service excellence among local government employees.

He urged civil servants of Epe extraction to enhance their performance within the local government service, focusing on promotion, welfare, deployment, and career advancement. “It is paramount to the commission that our staff, who are the backbone of service delivery, remain steadfast and continuously improve their conduct and capacity through ongoing training,” Hon. Ahmed Seriki emphasized.

Dispelling rumors of discord between key political figures, he clarified the strong and cordial relationship between GAC member and APC Divisional Leader, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, and Hon. Abiodun Tobun. Hon. Ahmed Seriki assured the public that any perceived issues were merely a father-to-son matter, emphasizing the mutual dedication of both parties to the community’s progress.

“There is no rancor between them. They are partners in progress, working assiduously for the progress of this community, and they are doing wonderfully well as far as I am concerned,” he stated.

Commending local government chairpersons, especially Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, the Chairman of Epe Local Government, for her outstanding work in welfare and infrastructure, Hon. Ahmed Seriki urged her to intensify efforts in the remaining year of her term to accelerate tangible developments in the town, considering the upcoming election period.

The call to action by Hon. Ahmed Seriki resonates as a rallying cry for enhanced service commitment within the local government service, fostering collaboration for the continued development of Epe.
