The Omola of Odomola Kingdom in Eredo LCDA,Epe Division of Lagos State,HRM Oba Adeshina Sulaimon Adebowale,was on Monday,December 18,2023,admitted into Epe Council of Obas and Chiefs,during the council monthly meeting which was held at Epe Local Government Secretariat.
Omola and his powerful entourage were called in to join the meeting at exactly 3:00PM,where Oloja of Epe Land,HRM Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun; Aladeshoyin of Odo Noforija Kingdom,HRM Oba ( Dr.) Babatunde Olaogun Ogunlaja,Chairman and Vice -Chairman of the council,respectively,and all traditional rulers and chiefs who are members of the council warmly welcomed them to their midst.
After the performance of the traditional rites of the admission,which included prayers offered on behalf of the council by Aladepekun of Odo Egiri Kingdom,HRM Oba Musiliu Abiola Oliwo,capped with wonderful royal blessings from Oba Animashaun and Oba Ogunlaja,for Omola,his Olori and Odomola Kingdom; Oniladaba of Ladaba Kingdom,HRM Oba Alugbin,took the newly admitted monarch to his exalted seat in the council amidst jubilation and appreciation to Almighty God and entire members of the highly respected council.
While speaking to Alaro Tide, Oba Adebowale,who was very excited to join the council, thanked God and the leadership of the council for the hitch-free admission. He commended all his subjects for their relentless love,loyalty and support for him and the kingdom; as he urged them to keep up the support for the betterment and development of Odomola.
Asiwaju Wasiu Taiwo; Jagunmolu Adinni of Odomola,Chief Lawal Musiliu; and Alhaji Abiodun Odutuga, felicitated with Oba Adebowale on this august admission. They pledged continuous support for him and Odomola; as they urged all indigenes, residents of Odomola and Eredo LCDA,to prioritize the development of Odomola kingdom.
