Hon. Princess Sesi Ogungbe Yussuf is a staunch APC member born into the family of Late Pa Augustine Ogungbe Hungbeji of Igbogbele, Badagry West. A successful businessman, politician and philanthropist who was also an Awoist and a supporter of late Jakande.
His father Hungbeji, fondly called 'Tata', had served as councillor in the old Badagry Local Government (Division) during his early days. No wonder one could relate Sesi's political attributes as home built.
On the mother side, Sesi took her part from the royal family of Oba Onisiwo of Lagos.
Sesi Ogungbe holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the prestigious Lagos State University - LASU
With her experience of over 14 years in the Lagos State Civil Service, Sesi worked as Personnel Staff at several local governments within Lagos State, not excluding Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Iba Local Council Development Area
Due to her dint of hard work, Sesi was awarded as the Best Revenue Staff in Iba LCDA in Aug. 2017.
Sesi was born and bred in the heart of Lagos, Surulere, until her deep resolve for a transformative return back to her fatherland and home town in Igbogbele, Badagry West
In year 2011, Sesi Ogungbe Yussuf contested for the position of Lagos State House of Assembly under the Action Congress
In year 2013, Sesi was appointed by the council chairman, Hon. Bamgbose Hontonyon Joseph as Special Assistant on Agriculture.
Sesi was later appointed by subsequent government under Hon. Gbenu Joseph Henugbe led administration as the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) in Nov. 2017. Due to her performance, she was subsequently reappointed in the same capacity in the year 2021, where she serves to date.
Sesi is a women advocate and an advocate for change who believes in equity, fairness, and justice.
She has, through her office as Supervisor for WAPA, facilitated training and empowement programs for youths and women in the area with complementary starter packs

Sesi has been recognised and awarded by notable organisations and associations due to her selfless service, contribution and support to humanity.
She was recently awarded as the 'Outstanding Female Politician Of the Year' on May 1st 2024 by the National Youth Council of Nigeria due to her active participation in politics and outstanding innitiative especially as a woman.
Sesi had travelled far and wide, learning through the streets of Lagos ranging through Nigeria, Africa and beyond, which invariably reflected in her ability to relate with the people irrespective of tribe, age, class, sex etc.
Sesi is not just a woman, she is, by all acts, A WOMAN POSSESSING EXCEPTIONAL QUALITIES AND CAN DO SPIRIT THAT ONLY FEW MEN CAN MATCH, a socialite to the core whose behaviour fits into the genre of politics of Lagos.
